The Pagosa Arts and Culture Project is a free service created to highlight all aspects of the substantial and growing arts community in Pagosa Springs and the surrounding area.
The Project includes an exhaustive list of artists and arts organizations in this rapidly developing arts destination, providing patrons and lovers of the arts with numerous options and contacts. It creates a forum that furnishes listed artists and organizations with increased exposure and expanded networking opportunities. And, as important, it seeks to broaden the arts community by giving interested artists and those involved in the business of the arts who are currently located elsewhere insight into an environment that welcomes and nurtures their efforts, and that is rich with exciting potential.
People ask: Where will the next art destination be? Where can one find a wide variety of visual arts – painting, ceramic arts, sculpture, photography, printmaking — theatre and music? Where can artists of all types relocate and find the spaces and time to do their work? Where can owners of art businesses open establishments and be an integral and vital part of an expanding and vibrant creative and commercial community? The Pagosa Arts and Culture Project provides the answers.
